2026.02 is the earlier Editor mapping label; 25478922 is the supported Steam build ID. These are separate from the Editor version. Check the build status on the Editor Dashboard after attaching.
After a CC26 update: compatibility is not automatic. Some or all editing features may stop working. Writes are blocked for unverified builds.
After a new Cricket Captain release, please allow me a few days to rebuild and verify the Editor for that version.
Check Versions → Check for updates in the Editor. If it still reports an unverified build, use Report an issue to send diagnostics, or contact support.

Compare releases and download a previous Windows installer. Downloads require an active Editor membership. Use the newest release compatible with your game.
The game build below is the Editor's verified build label; it may differ from Steam's version number. These downloads change the Editor, not Cricket Captain.
Switching to an older version? Back up your career first. Windows blocks installing an older MSI over a newer Editor. An older Editor may not understand drafts or settings created by a newer release. Contact support for help switching versions.
