All 38 domestic teams
The Editor checks and releases the league's existing squads together, with optional Basic Income changes. You do not need to visit each team. Drafted players receive their new squad places and selected contract lengths while CC26's competitions, groups and fixtures stay in place. IPL teams are not participants in this draft.
A player pool built around your idea
Select multiple nationalities and filter by role, age, maximum draft value, batting hand, pace or spin and individual bowling styles. The eligible count updates as you choose. Want a spin-only challenge? You can keep it strict or include wicketkeepers alongside your bowling filters.
Standard computer squads require two wicketkeepers. Specialist drafts can explicitly allow squads without them. The Editor checks the player pool and budget before you start, and each career's native squad capacity limits the available squad size.
Prepare your shortlist, then start picking
Browse and shortlist before the first pick, then choose Proceed to draft. Keep targets visible independently of table filters and see which team selected a player you wanted.
Add a 30-, 60- or 90-second timer to human turns, pause when needed or keep unlimited time. When the timer expires, the computer makes a valid pick. Computer pace and automatic instant picks remain available, along with the recent-picks history.
Clear choices for your career
New drafts start with three-year contracts and 2.5 million Basic Income per team; both are editable. You can change players to the league's nationality, retire them from international cricket, reactivate retired legends, modernise their age or reset career statistics.
The draft budget controls draft spending. Basic Income changes the team income field in CC26, and draft prices do not change game wages. Existing drafts retain their saved choices.
A summary of your new cricket world
After the last pick, review the saved rules, player pool, budgets, team squads and planned changes in one completion summary. Separate views make it clear whether you have finished drafting or also applied the changes to CC26. Check your squads in the game and save the career afterward.
Job Offers improvements
Indian domestic teams now resolve correctly when the game does not provide a readable team name. Add teams to the bottom of your existing selection, reorder them, preview and save. Adding a team never automatically removes another selection. International and domestic/franchise offers still need separate saved lists.
