Put today's stars alongside legends from another era, spread the talent across rival teams and see how your choices play out on the pitch.
Three leagues, your rules
Choose England's 18 counties, Australia's six state teams or Ireland's four domestic teams. The draft replaces their squads while keeping CC26's existing divisions, fixtures and competition rules.
Use active players, retired players or a mix of both. Pick from any nationality, or narrow your pool by country, role and age. Decide which teams you control and let the computer handle the rest. The pick order reverses each round, giving the team that picks last the first choice in the next round.
Build a squad, balance a budget
Choose a tight, balanced or generous budget, set your own amount, or go unlimited. Player values reflect their in-game abilities, so you can weigh up a marquee signing against several useful squad players. The draft keeps enough money in reserve for teams to fill their remaining places.
Computer teams build balanced squads with at least two wicketkeepers. Watch their selections in the recent-picks bar, adjust the pace or choose Instant to run computer turns automatically.
Your draft budget only controls spending during the draft. Separately, you can set every team's in-game Basic Income when releasing the existing squads. Draft prices do not change player wages.
Make the new world yours
Set contract lengths from one to six years, change drafted players' nationality to match the league and retire them from international cricket so they can focus on domestic competition. You can also make retired draftees 20 years old or reset career batting and bowling totals. Their abilities are preserved; historical records and existing match scorecards remain.
The Editor checks and releases the league's existing squads together, so you no longer need to visit every team. Once the draft finishes, review each squad and apply the changes to CC26. Then check your teams in the game and save your career.
How to get started
- Install Editor v1.0.9 or later. Existing users can open Versions and choose Check for updates.
- Start a new Easy or Very Easy domestic career in England, Australia or Ireland, and keep a copy of the original save.
- Open your team's full Squad screen, connect the Editor and select Fantasy Draft.
- Choose your rules, check and release the squads, make your picks, then review and apply the finished teams.
Fantasy Draft is included with Editor access and All Access membership. It runs through the Windows Editor on the supported CC26 build; normal recruitment and retirement continue once you return to your career.
